『TALENT』作为 The Crane 的第一张专辑，是一幅此刻原真的静态截图，也是集其28年成长岁月的奇幻录像。飞行过程像是潜入他意外梦见的过往，时序偶有人工动刀的迹象；若感觉一气呵成，则并非偶然，天秤座爱面子，方方面面皆是精雕细琢。偶遇乱流波荡丶风景变换之处，则是内心实话浮现的词句。
As The Crane’s first album, TALENT is a faithful capture of his current status, also a magical culmination of 28 years living. The album feels like stepping into his memory lane by accident, but maybe it’s not. It’s definitely not a coincidence that the listening experience feels “natural”, that’s what perfection-seeking Libras love to do.

When you feel the turbulence, the change in the music, those are the unfiltered thoughts that came to The Crane’s mind.

『TALENT』也是气宇轩昂的宣告之作，有细节斐然的复古曲目「Natural Ability」，以扎实的器乐致敬七零年代灵魂乐；有与 ØZI 合作的残暴屠龙之歌「The Dragon Song」，气焰逼人丶实则为兄弟打闹；也有「不介意」这样漫不经心的时髦情歌，表情不怎麽样，心里早就爱得死去活来。
TALENT is also a statement piece, with “Natural Ability” filled with nostalgia and talented instrumentalists on the track, the track pays tribute to The Crane’s beloved Soul Music in the seventies. The collaboration track with ØZI “The Dragon Song”, while sounding braggadocious, turns out to be just brothers having fun. There’s also chic love songs like “Don’t Mind” for you to pretend you don’t care, even if you're already in love.

The Crane 一如往常地包办音乐制作，也几乎编写了全部曲目。不同的是这张专辑多了许多真实乐器的录制，更邀请落日飞车的贝斯手弘礼丶热带浪漫鼓手雷擎丶JADE 的吉他手鲁纲宇丶Karencici 的制作人kvn等人，分别在不同曲目跨刀演奏，将 The Crane 的音乐又抬升到了新的云层。
The Crane finished everything from writing to production as usual in this album, the difference is in trying to capture more live instruments in the studio this time, inviting bassist Hung-Li from Sunset Rollercoaster, drummer L8ching, guitarist Kyle Lu from JADE, kvn the producer of Karencici, showing their talents on different tracks, elevating The Cranes music to another level.

「如果一切的经历都是为了让我走到这，早知道用飞的」但後悔的心情让人不再犯错，先唱衰自己再让别人看得起你，我偏不要，连这篇专辑介绍都是自己写的？？这场惊人的内心戏，一步步都是险棋，却准备对你的痒处一路暴击。
The Crane refuses to stick himself to a genre he’s already known for, walking on a tightrope while treading new musical territories. He’s never playing the “be humble just to likable” game, always aiming at what you are yearning to listen to, and giving you the headshot.

1. Natural Ability
作为专辑的开场曲目，The Crane 致敬了自己一直喜爱的七零年代摩城唱片，在循序渐进的律动下，一层一层揭开色彩斑斓的序幕。
一首首的创作就像是一场场旅行，每一次的天人交战都是为了一睹最珍稀的风景。踏破铁鞋无觅处，风景一直在心中，呼吸吐纳便是最真实的创作，这正是「自然的本能」。
此曲邀请到落日飞车的贝斯手弘礼弹奏贝斯丶并由雷擎打鼓，节奏组与弦乐交织出一幅壮丽的美景。
As the opening of the album, The Crane pays tribute and shows his love towards the classic sounds of Motown Records in the seventies. Steadily building up the groove with the aid of bass player Hung-Li from Sunset Rollercoaster, drummer L8ching, and a lovely string quartet, the story unfolds as the music proceeds.
Every creation of a song feels like a journey, an uphill battle against yourself to have a glimpse at the finest scenes. But maybe, don’t try too hard next time, just follow your instincts. Your “natural ability” will guide you through, and take you to the place where you should be.

2. 不介意
与心爱的人在一起，不论在哪里都不介意。
“I don’t mind where I am, as long as I’m with you.”

3. PRINCESS
继歌曲〈拉面公子〉之後，鹤The Crane将在12月发行首张全长度专辑。
〈PRINCESS〉作为第一首前导单曲，以滂薄的史诗感营造中世纪风情，讲述一段平凡却虐人的爱情故事，我爱你但我更恨你丶冷战既是爱也是惩罚，但即便感情有毒，我们还是得走下去。

4. The Dragon Song (feat. ØZI)
The Crane 首次与师兄ØZI合作，在气势滂薄的 Gospel 曲风与 Trap Beat 结合下，两人亦刚亦柔丶也饶也唱，碰撞出气场强大又独特的化学效应。
今晚我要告诉你什麽是爱，爱是愿意为了妳杀一条龙，料理最珍稀的食材丶摆出一桌奇异佳肴；爱是挥舞魔杖下的绚丽把戏，今晚，就让我驯服妳内心的野兽。
两位屠龙高手强势组队，在一片断垣残壁中宣告，这里有着最不容质疑的才华。
The first collaboration between The Crane and label-mate ØZI shows great chemistry, the two flow effortlessly on the Gospel/Trap beat, both switching up their routines by singing and rapping at the same time, stunning everyone with their unlimited talents.

Tonight I’m going to show you what love is, love is willing to kill a dragon for you, hunt for the rarest materials, just to cook you a comforting meal. Love is a glamorous trick with the wave of a wand, tonight, let me tame the beast inside you.
Two dragon slayers teamed up and put out a statement you can’t deny, there’s some serious talent here, their love you can’t resist.

5. 还不想睡
一次次受伤却一次次冒险，我们爱看爱骂丶也爱装的豁达。如果能不投入感情就好了，就再也不会搞砸。
We’ve all been through pain, but we still keep falling in love. We’d love to pretend we don’t care, but we can’t help indulging in the downward spiral. What if we could just walk away? None of us can.

6. Pain Hasn’t Hit Me
The Crane 形容失去亲人时，「疼痛来的特别慢」，彷佛他们只是去了很远的地方；又或者只有这麽做，才能真正消化掉所有的痛楚，直到有一天不再难过。
在青少年时失去父亲，就像是人生漏掉了几堂课，必须自己面对丶自己学会，但心里永远像个小孩。拿起了父亲的车钥匙，开着车到处走，但我该要何去何从？我会永远向往从前单纯的日子，但我的旅程才要开始。
The Crane describes the feeling of losing someone that is close to him,“The pain comes in really slowly, as if it hasn’t hit me yet.” Maybe our close ones have just gone to a place that’s so far away, or maybe that’s the only way for us to process all that pain.
Losing his father in his adolescence feels like a few classes skipped in life. Having to learn to handle things on his own, The Crane feels like he’ll always be a child at heart. He took his father’s car keys and started to drive, but had no destination in mind. “Where to go and where to live? Better days are that I’ve missed, but now I’m on my trip.”

7. Take Your Time
如果继续慢慢来的话，也许将会一事无成？Take Your Time 以高亢的说唱开头，一面讲述对音乐的自信丶一面也警惕自己把握时间，精进自我才能把作品愈做愈大声。歌曲充满无忧无虑的加州氛围，好像几乎能看见 Free Nationals 在後头随性的伴奏，但这样的随性在歌词中却显讽刺。若没有付出努力，我们有什麽值得享受的？

8. Unique Design
复古都会迪斯可风格在 Urban丶R&B 音乐里并不少见，但使用这样的节奏氛围却不派对不撩妹，在现今可谓第一人。此曲讲述的是一段浅白却真诚的鼓励，告诉偶尔沮丧的人：你是一个独特的创造。即便这麽说有些客套，但相信一切都会好的。

9. Classy
品味是什麽？也许是一件我想要但不需要的东西，也许是我这麽选择丶只为了让你看见。品味是後天习得的过程，是一道只能向上的阶梯，它帮助我们看见原本所看不见的差异，却让我们再也无法忍受差异。
The Crane 成为了故事中的主角，谈及他不存在的房产与不曾拥有过的私人飞机，如果这是一场纯粹的讽刺还好，真正讽刺的是，如果我们真的活在其中，恐怕没有人会选择离开。
What is “being classy”? Maybe it’s getting a thing you want but you don’t actually need. Or maybe it’s because you want others to see your choices? Good taste needs to be learned, it’s like a staircase that only goes up, helping us see the difference we didn't notice before, until we can’t stand the difference anymore.

The Crane became the protagonist of the story, talking about the mansions and private jets that he never had in his life. It is fun when he’s being sarcastic, but what really is sarcastic is if the life he’s talking about was real, no one would ever choose to leave.

10. Up In The Clouds
Up In The Clouds 是这张专辑实质意义上的最後一首歌，历经了自信洋溢的一段飞行，以为自己应该在云层上作威享福了，但焦虑还是日夜不停袭来。嘴上说得头头是道，但谁又真正了解事情？即使不畏惧生死，但终究还是想要伟大。
因为人皆向死，所以更该积极绽放，也许我想开了，也许我没有，但我会好好享受这趟飞行。
As the closing track for the album, Up In The Clouds portrays The Crane getting hit by waves of anxiety even though he just started to feel like he can move freely above the clouds. People talk the talk, but do they really know what they are talking about? The pursuit of greatness is always his goal in mind, since death is inevitable, we should all blossom when we still have time. Maybe The Crane has thought it through, maybe he hasn’t, but he’ll definitely enjoy the flight.

11. 拉面公子 Ramen Boy
全曲始於独自一人去拉面店吃饭时的场景，物是人非的触景伤情，一如往常的细面小辣，每一段感情结束後好像都更认识了自己一点，却又总是什麽都没留下。朦胧的合成器佐以不时点缀的电吉他，彷佛看着拉面上冉冉而升的蒸气，在适合拥抱的冬日里，发现自己有点蛮想你。直到烟雾散去，留下的是一整碗的庸人自扰。
