成軍六千五百萬年，「The Dinosaur’s Skin恐龍的皮」終於發行第一張概念專輯『I Dig You』，除了字面上的「我挖掘你」，更是「我喜歡你、我理解你」的意思。

這張概念專輯是一趟考古挖掘之旅，帶領聽眾穿越時間與空間，將史前主題與現代思考巧妙結合。在暴龍、三角龍尋找世界上僅存恐龍的旅程中，牠們挖掘到的不僅止於考古文物，更多的是關於人類智慧的——孤單與自由、平等與多樣性、選擇與不可變性等概念，探索了關於身份認同、愛、與跨越族群藩籬的包容與理解。恐龍與人類，雖然是不同的物種，但是透過共同的情感與經歷緊密相連。

聆聽整張專輯，也如同向下挖掘出層層不同的七彩礦物。專輯由金曲獎最佳演唱組合「Crispy脆樂團」主唱Skippy擔任專輯製作人，與來自世界各地的眾多優秀歌手、音樂人合作，包含金曲歌后「魏如萱waa wei」、美國德州另類衝浪搖滾樂團「Summer Salt」、美國破億神曲貓臉蒙面歌姬「Limbo」，在專輯製作名單也囊括曾入圍金曲最佳製作人的唱作人Everydaze、新生代金獎製作人鍾濰宇、新銳編曲家趙宇晨、草東沒有派對現任鼓手鳥人、金曲樂團百合花鼓手陳奕欣；以及林宥嘉、魏如萱、脆樂團指定合作樂手王育嘉；還有來自奈及利亞、義大利、烏克蘭的優秀樂手們，橫跨獨立與主流，延續了樂團標誌性的獨立流行Indie Pop、夢幻流Dream Pop 和臥室流行風格Bedroom Pop，合成器交響與歪斜吉他，在復古音色與咆哮聲展現「The Dinosaur’s Skin恐龍的皮」多樣、多元的音樂風格，並融入了荒誕的幽默和深刻的哲思。

After 65 million years, The Dinosaur’s Skin is finally releasing their debut concept album, I Dig You. The title plays on the literal meaning of “digging” for fossils and dinosaurs, while also expressing the deeper sentiment of “I like you” and “I understand you.”

This concept album is like an archaeological journey, taking listeners on a voyage through time and space, seamlessly blending prehistoric themes with modern reflections. As the Trex and Triceratops search for the last remaining dinosaurs on Earth, they unearth more than just fossils—they discover insights into human wisdom: loneliness and freedom, equality and diversity, choice and inevitability. These timeless ideas explore identity, love, and the embrace of differences that transcend language, race and even species. Dinosaurs and humans may be different creatures, but they are bound together by shared emotions and experiences.

Listening to the album feels like uncovering layers of vibrant, multicolored minerals. Produced by Skippy, the lead vocalist of the Golden Melody Award-winning band Crispy, I Dig You brings together talented singers and musicians from Taiwan and abroad. This includes Golden Melody-winning singer waa wei, Texas-based indie surf rock band Summer Salt, and viral sensation Limbo, the cat-masked singer from the U.S. Blending indie pop, dream pop, indie rock, and bedroom pop, the album stays true to The Dinosaur’s Skin’s signature sound. With synthesizer symphonies, detuned guitars, retro soundscapes, and roaring vocals, this album is a playful yet profound exploration of the band’s eclectic and diverse musical style, infused with absurd humor and deep philosophy.

由地球上最後的兩隻恐龍組成的樂團「The Dinosaur’s Skin 恐龍的皮」，在首張EP《Millions of Years Apart》同時入圍金曲獎與金音獎之後，帶著復古節拍與浪漫樂句踏上世界舞台，走遍紐約、巴黎、奧斯丁、多倫多、曼谷、香港的各大音樂祭與專場演出。

音樂風格涵括bedroom pop、indie rock、dream pop、synth pop、lofi等元素，大量使用distortion、overdrive、tape delay、chorus的歪斜人聲，加上detune與tremolo的電吉他，以及玩具聲響般的歪斜合成器三者為其特色，帶領人類們進入侏儸紀歪斜的夢境。

成軍六千五百萬年，2024年10月終於發行第一張概念專輯『I Dig You』。

The Dinosaur's Skin is a Jurassic-Pop duo based somewhere in Pangea. Their music combines the smooth melodies of Jurassic-Pop with dreamy Astroidgaze soundscape, all into a style they call Post-Extinction Fossilcore that will chill you to your bones. Members are the last two dinosaurs on earth, Trex and Triceratops, both contribute to the vocals and various instruments. Blending indie pop, dream pop, and bedroom pop, their raw prehistoric howls play a key role in shaping their unique sound.

After their debut EP, Millions of Years Apart, snagged nominations for both the Golden Melody and Golden Indie Music Awards, they've hit the global stage with singalong anthems and romantic tunes, playing festivals and venues across New York, Paris, Austin, Toronto, Bangkok, and Hong Kong. 調皮的歌詞雙關，加上三角龍的可愛聲線，這首歌展謝了一種傲嬌又任性的獨白，探索感情中反覆的失落與信心重建。面對愛情消逝的無奈與渴望，我努力地挖掘、找尋，歌詞中「我所能做的，就是把你挖出來」傳達了殷切重拾過去的盼望，依然堅信愛能再次閃耀。最後一句「你欠我一個道歉，但你卻被活埋」更是對彼此情感的挑戰與詰問。

The frill is the shield on a Triceratops' head, and this is a breakup song written by a Triceratops.

Constantly waiting for news from you—through one sunrise after another, one moonrise after another. Waiting as the trees grow another ring, and the flowers bloom across the earth again. Waiting until I’ve eaten all the trees, yet still no word from you. It turns out my love for you is as lonely as the end of the world.

然而，夢醒時分，這樣深切刻在腦海的感受究竟是真實？還是虛假？一切如同幻影，但情感卻是這麼真摯。無論如何，他們知道，心愛的恐龍朋友永遠都會存在他們心中。

恐龍的皮與製作人Skippy的樂團「Crispy脆樂團」的共同創作，專輯特別收錄恐龍的皮獨唱版。在Dream Pop、Lo-fi的的音樂景深裡，唱著隕石落下後的白堊紀永夜，以及病毒肆虐的二十一世紀孤寂。恐龍與人類彼此都在為各自種族生存的漫漫長路，一步一步、緩慢而堅定前進。

合聲特地邀請來自烏克蘭、加拿大、印尼等國家的聲音一起合唱，跨越時空、語言、曲風、國界、種族甚至是物種的合作。是開始，也是結束、是恐龍的故事、也是人類的故事，是最深淵的絕望、也是最堅定的希望，不管這條路多久多長，我們一起慢慢地走。

Take It Slow was originally a collaboration with Crispy, written together about the shared struggles of humans and dinosaurs alike. Now presented as a solo version, the song reflects on the slow and painful process of extinction after the asteroid hit the Earth. As their friends fell one by one, The Dinosaur’s Skin marched through the everlasting Cretaceous night, realizing that survival was a desperate, drawn-out battle—much like our own struggles in the post-pandemic world. Step by step, slowly but surely, we will get through it together. With haunting melodies and evocative lyrics, Take It Slow encourages us to embrace the journey of growing old side by side.
